. Conversations in Postcolonial Thought. New York, Palgrave Macmillan, 2016.
This book offers a series of conversational interviews with a diverse range of thinkers in the social sciences and humanities engaging with debates around race, ethnicity, and postcolonial questions. Taking seriously Yancy's reflections from the opening epigraph, this text has been written with a self-aware yet unassuming voice that is mindful of personal standpoint, perspective, and biographical location and, at the same time, makes no attempt for claims of objectivity or neutrality. Uniquely, this book not only examines the key ideas of the thinkers interviewed but, through its compilation of conversations, also invites readers to share their biographical journeys to help one understand the experiences that led to the thinkers' work within the field.
